Culinary tour in Armenia

 

The tour program includes:
Day 1: Arrival in Armenia. Visit to the Historical Museum of Armenia, Matenadaran,
Tsitsernakaberd, Mother Armenia complex. Visit to "Ararat" cognac factory, wine degustation.
Lunch in one of Yerevan restaurants with national Armenian dishes.
Day 2: Departure from Yerevan to the Aragatsotn region. Visit to the medieval fortress city of
Amberd, climbing Mount Aragats by car, where you will taste khash.
Day 3: Visit to the pagan temple of Garni, participation in the process of baking Armenian
lavash. Visit to the monastery of Geghard, cut out of the rock. Lunch - cooking meat and
vegetables in tonir, homemade vodka. Return to Yerevan.
Day 4: Visit to Noratus, Lake Sevan, Sevanavank. Tasting a number of dishes prepared from
trout and whitefish. For dinner, you will taste a lamb baked in tonir, there will also be a master
class of cooking dishes. Return to Yerevan.
Day 5: Tour to the monastery complexes of Sanahin and Haghpat. Participation in baking
bread. Return to Yerevan.
Day 6: Visit to Khor Virap, then Noravank monastery complex. Visit to the cave of Areni. Wine
degustation in the village of Areni. Overnight stay in one of the guest houses.
Day 7: Visit to Zvartnots complex, the spiritual capital of Armenia - St. Echmiadzin. Degustation
of kufta and porridge at one of the restaurants in Echmiadzin. Airport transfer.
