The monasteries of Sanahin and Haghpat, included in UNESCO's list of intangible
cultural heritage, the Kobayri church, the Akhtala church and the fortress, the Horomayri
church, the medieval bridge of Alaverdi, etc., are located in the enchanting forests,
numerous mountain streams and rivers, ancient monastery complexes of the Lori
region.
The tour program includes:
8:00 - Departure to the Lori region.
10:30 - Hiking to the Kobayri church, which includes 4 buildings, a large church, a
chapel, a column hall. The monastery is especially famous for its frescoes. In the Middle
Ages, the Kobayri church was one of the most important Armenian spiritual and cultural
centers.
13:30 - Coffee break.
15:15 - Odzun Monastery, Haghpat and Sanahin monasteries
19:00 - Return to Yerevan.
