The tour program includes:
9:00 - Departure from Yerevan
11:30 - Church of the Holy Virgin in Odzun. The present church was built in the 6th century by
Grigor Lusavorich and Trdat the Third on the site of the church-basilica of the 4th century. The
church is decorated with unique carved ornaments, the most impressive of which is the image of
"The Virgin with the Child".
12:30 - The monastery complex of Sanahin was built in the 9-11th centuries. It was one of the
spiritual and scientific centers of medieval Armenia. Here is the mausoleum of Zaqaryan princes
located. The territory of the monastery complex is rich in beautiful and unique khachkars, the
number of which reaches 50.
14:00 - Lunch in the nature.
15:00 - Monastery complex of Haghpat. Haghpat and Sanahin are included in the list of
UNESCO's intangible cultural heritage. The complex was founded in the second half of the 10th
century. It was one of the spiritual and scientific centers of medieval Armenia.
17:00 - Kobayravanq. It was one of the most important spiritual and scientific centers of
medieval Armenia. The monastic complex consists of three churches, a bell tower, a refectory
and a porch. Nowadays, the khachkars and ruins of the chapel have been preserved in the
vicinity of the monastery complex.
19:00 - Return to Yerevan.
