The tour program includes:
December 31: Meeting at the airport, check-in at the hotel. An excursion around
Yerevan: the National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, the Cascade complex,
"Cafesjian" art center. Walk along the Northern Avenue, visit to the Republic Square
and the main Christmas tree. New Year's Eve in a restaurant with a show program.
January 1: Pagan temple of Garni, one of the medieval spiritual centers - the monastery
of Geghard. Lunch in one of the local guest houses, participation in the ceremony of
baking lavash and gata.
January 2: Visit to the monastery complex of Khor Virap. Visiti to the Noravank
monastery complex, built in the 13th and 14th centuries. Stop in Areni, degustation of
local wine. Lunch in one of the local restaurants with traditional Armenian cuisine.
January 3: Excursion around Yerevan.
January 4: Visit to the spiritual capital of Armenia - St. Echmiadzin. The first stop is the
temple of Zvartnots. The cathedral in Echmiadzin, the museum. Church of St. Gayane.
Lunch at one of the local restaurants.
January 5: Tsaghkadzor, the medieval monastery complex of Kecharis. The ropeway of
Tsaghkadzor. Dinner. Visit to Lake Sevan, Sevanavank, Hayravank.
January 6: Visit to the Saghmosavank monastery, built in the 13th century. Oshakan,
visit to the grave of the Armenian alphabet creator Mesrop Mashtots.
January 7: Ararat Cognac Factory, excursion and cognac degustation. Sweets market,
Vernissage. Airport transfer.
